Position as postdoctoral research fellowship in Section 5 available at Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Oslo.
The position will be for a period of 2 years, starting no later than September 1, 2021 and comes with no teaching responsibilities or administrative duties. No one can be appointed for more than one specified period at the same institution.
This is a full-time postdoctoral position in mathematics at the University of Oslo. We seek candidates whose research interests enhance and complement the research group in Algebra, Geometry and Topology. Information about the research group can be found here: Section 5.
The supporting grant for this position is part of the project “Equations in Motivic Homotopy Theory'' funded by the Norwegian Research Council. The candidate is expected to have research interests related to the theme of the project EMOHO: Equations in Motivic Homotopy Theory.
The main purpose of a postdoctoral fellowship is to provide the candidates with enhanced skills to pursue a scientific top position within or beyond academia. To promote a strategic career path, all postdoctoral research fellows are required to submit a professional development plan no later than one month after commencement of the postdoctoral period.
